Acceptance and Updating of Terms
By using Steam Bargains, you agree to these terms. Your use of Steam Bargains is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service, or the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
Steam Bargains may change these Terms of Service, for example, (1) to reflect changes to our service (for example, to add information about upcoming or released features); (2) for legal, regulatory, or security reasons; or (3) to prevent abuse or harm. Steam Bargains will endeavor to provide notice of changes to the Terms of Service. We may, due to changes in law or legal action, be required to change the Terms of Service with no prior notice. Your continued use of the service means you accept the new terms.
Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' BASIS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT PRICES, DISCOUNTS, AVAILABILITY, RELEASE DATES, PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, OR OTHER INFROMATION DISPLAYED BY THER SERVICE ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to idemnify and hold harmless Steam Bargains from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the serivce, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
User Conduct
You may not use our service to harass others.
Attempts to coordinate reviews against specific publishers ('brigading'), in our sole determination, will result in termination of the account without notice.
Automation
We may, at our discretion, provide various services to allow automated tools to access our content. The usage of these tools is described in https://steam.bargains/llms.txt.
. You will ensure your tool usage is limited to a resonable rate (no more than 50 calls per minute and no more than 1000 calls per day, unless other limits are provided in llms.txt). If you receive a 429 error, this is a notice that your tools have exceeded the currently available access. Your tools should use a unique identifier in User-Agent string, and use exponential backoff to ensure your tool does not take down the service.Third Party Content
Steam Bargains incorporates and links to Third Party content. This content includes banners, reviews, and storefronts. This content is used for the purposes of identifying the topic of discussion, providing more information about products. Steam Bargains does not license this content to you or make any warranties about their quality, accuracy, or suitability for purpose.
From time to time, Steam Bargains may inform you about a sale on a Third Party website. This sale is based on the information published by that publisher. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility over, any website or online service. We are not a party to any transactions between you and this Third Party. Information about sales is cached, and the terms of sale may change at the point of purchase. You agree you will verify the terms of any sale.
Sales by Third Party websites may also be subject to terms that were not picked up by our service or that were not provided at the point of reference by the Third Party ("Hidden Terms"). You agree we are not a party to the Hidden Terms of these deals. You will take care to verify whether a given deal is subject to Hidden Terms, and that you will notify us at the contact in the page footer of the website if any Third Party has Hidden Terms that affect the price or the product (e.g., if a subscription is required or if the listed price is for a limited version of a full game).
Restriction and Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the Account menu. This deletes all votes you have cast. Due to cacheing, your votes may still impact the average for up to 24 hours after account deletion.
Steam Bargains reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate your account at any time. We may take action due to abuse of the service, legal requirements, security concerns, or other operational reasons. We may do so with or without notice.
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Privacy Policy
This service may be used without logging in. To log in, you need to log in through a Steam account. If you log into the Service, Steam Bargains may collect the following information.

| Your votes | To build a community consensus for the game's value and metrics. |
The Wishlist feature is not live yet but is mentioned as data that will be automatically collected at a point in the near future.
You may update this information by choosing the Resync option from the menu. You may delete this information by deleting your account.
In order to preserve a login, we may grant your browser a cookie. This cookie stores a session ID. The behavior of this cookie is determined by your browser settings and may be deleted at any time. If you do not allow this cookie or delete this cookie, you may not be able to use all functions of the site.
CCPA Notice
The service provided by Steam Bargains is provided at no cost with no expectation of commercial gain, does not collect funds in exchange for any service, does not collect Personal Identifiable Information as defined by CCPA, does not sell personal information, does not derive other revenue from personal information, and is not operated in the state of California. As such, Steam Bargains does not provide CCPA compliance. If you need CCPA compliance, please use another service.
GDPR Notice
The service provided by Steam Bargains is provided at no cost with no expectation of commercial gain, does not have physical operations or branches in the EEA, does not process data in the EEA, does not collect Personal Identifiable Information as defined by the GDPR, does not knowingly or willingly provide services to individuals in the EU, does not provide information about pricing in EU currencies, does not gather any personal data, is operated for strictly personal usage with no publication of user information, and is not operated within the jurisdiction of the EU. As such, Steam Bargains does not provide GDPR compliance. If you need GDPR compliance, please use another service.
